Day Trip to Antibes France

The South of France has many hotspots to visit and Antibes is definitely a place you need to go check out whenever you're in the area!

Antibes, France.
Antibes is a Mediterranean resort town located in the Alpes-Maritimes side of southeastern France. The city is nestled on the coastline of the Cote d’Azur, snuggled between ritzy Cannes and Nice. With its traditional restaurants, markets and shops, it's a French destination that still holds on tight to the true French way of life. It owes its roots to the Greeks and Romans, and its beach earned it's appeal for influx of tourism during their high season by travelers from all over the world.

The ride over to the French Riviera is stunning. It was also cool that many celebrities were staying in different parts of the French Rivera while our stay there. We arrived to our accommodation in the late afternoon which we all received a welcome drink and dinner. After settling in our cabins, we had a free night to do whatever we pleased. Our tour manager told us about a nearby amusement park and a beach that was in walking distance.

A group of us decided to go and explore Antibes and had a blast! We found the amusement park but decided to keep walking a little further to check out the beach first since it was almost sunset. It was my first time at a pebble beach but it was a fun vibe with the locals playing music and singing. We then headed back to the amusement park to check it out and found others from our tour there as well. It was one of the best nights on this trip, bringing out our inner child spirit while going on rides and playing games. I recommend checking it out while you're in Antibes. Although we didn't get to stay here as long as I wanted, I would love to come back and really dive deep and explore this gorgeous place!

  1. I go to the Cote d'Azur at least once a year as I love this area of France. Hiking, beach, culture, food, it has it all. I love Antibes and love taking in a late evening meal in the summer months whilst sitting next to the sea. Defo worth going to if visitors want a place to chillout in the south of france.

  2. I do not know this area of France yet. But it seems to be nice, even if I do not like the evening bustle in many regions and would rather search for peace. But hiking on the coast and discovering the hinterland would be exactly my favorite holiday idea.

  7. I've been to the Cote d’Azur, which I really loved, but I didn't stop at Antibes, unfortunately. It looks like a lovely beach town, I'm sure it would be quite popular. I would love to explore it and see the historical aspects.
