You're heading to Russia for the World Cup but don't know what to pack. Here's a packing guide to help you figure what to put in your suitcase for your upcoming trip to Russia!
I found this cute pumpkin patch farm in New Jersey. I took my favorite ladies (mom & grandma) for a fun filled Fall outing!
It's officially FALL! This is my favorite time of year, which means it's time to switch up the decor. I have a thing for decorative pillows which is a problem. Instead of buying new ones each season to match my decor, I decided to DIY them. If you want to learn on how to do this, keep reading!
After a month of travels, I was surprised with these new products in the mail! I got to try out the new Origins Original skincare products through Influenster this month! They sent decent sized samples to try out and if you want to know more about Influenster, keep reading!
It's starting to finally feel like SPRING-time in New York City. I was excited to take my mother and grandmother to the botanical garden to see the Thailand orchid show exhibit! I haven't been to this botanical garden in many years. I saw amazing photos of this exhibit and had to go see it for myself. Let's just say it did not disappoint especially my grandmother who is flower enthusiast!
It's SPRING-TIME! What better way to give your space a makeover by adding color with flower decor! Pintrest definitely inspired this impromptu DIY session and also looking at home decor magazines.
It is no secret that I'm obsessed with book Me Before You, so I was extremely excited to read the sequel After You! This book is equally as powerful but for different reasons and perspectives. If you haven't read Me Before You (though why haven't you?), go to your nearest bookstore to pick up a copy! Read my review for Me Before You (click here) before reading spoilers.
If you haven't head of sheet mask, where have you been hiding? These face masks can be found all over Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, Sephora, and every drugstore. I love trying anything beauty related so of course I gravitated toward trying this new beauty trend! Sheet masks and eye masks have been a stable in beauty routine lately and should be in yours too!
Embracing who are and practicing self love are important for many reasons. Many people struggle with knowing their worth and being able to be unapologetic for being themselves. Creating a space in your life to listen and explore who you really are, and to accept and fully embrace your true authentic self is priceless. I haven't talked about this topic before on my blog but hope to incorporate more in future blog posts.
Hey guys! I recently had the opportunity to receive another Influenster voxbox! This time around I received the the Bite Beauty Voxbox which came with beauty products. If you're not familiar with influenster, LISTEN UP (or just keep scrolling down haha)!
New York City has so many fun rooftops. In this blog post I will be focusing on the Refinery Rooftop which is one of my favorite places to bring friends from out of town. It has a chill vibe and has yummy food to share with big groups.
Many people have their new years resolutions and goals set for the year. Keeping organized is a huge part of the equation when you want to keep on track in pursuit of your end goal. Organizing your life seems impossible but sometimes the smallest steps that make the biggest difference in the end. Here are a few tips that can help you keep organized throughout the year!
If you haven't experienced a New York City style brunch, you are missing out! It is not the typical brunch you are you used to attending. with a live dj, great food, and bottomless mimosas. There are many places in the city that offer an array of bottomless brunches, but this is one of my all time favorites!
2016 was great year for me. I got to travel to Thailand and Indonesia this past year which I didn't think in a million years I would be able to. I've let go of negative people in my life in the beginning of the year which has led me to become more at peace with myself. I've met so many amazing people from all over the world along the way. I've created new friendships that I'm very thankful for. Many things in my personal life are going in a great direction. I've never felt this happy before in such a long time. Along with highs there have been some lows but all you can do is learn from every experience. As much as I didn't want this year to end, I can only hope that 2017 will be filled with much more traveling, adventures, blessings, and accomplishments! #Hello2017
If you're into photography, a tourist, or just bored, go visit Top of the Rock! I had family from Colombia visiting so it was perfect time to do touristy things. Top of the Rock in my opinion is better than the Empire State Building for a 360 view of the city with unobstructed views. This place does get busy during the holidays and of course sunset hour. Here are some tips if you plan on visiting!
Autumn has to be favorite season ever. The cold crisp air, fall foliage, hot latte's, cozy sweaters, pumpkin and apple picking, baking yummy desserts, and everything else that involves Fall activities. Here are some photos Fall photos I took at nearby park where my mom works. It's only a 40 minute drive out of New York. I've never been to this park before but I'm glad I did because it was so beautiful! It wasn't an ideal day to walk around because of the wind and the temperatures dropped but thats East Coast weather for ya! Also this day I visited a local apple/pumpkin farm. Hope you enjoy this photo filled blog post!
Labor Day Weekend is upon us which means everyone is fleeting away from New York City. If you're looking for a close getaway this is definitely your spot. This is one of favorite beaches that not so many people know about. It's located in New Jersey but trust me it's nothing like Seaside Heights where it's always over crowded and loud.
If you're looking for a great Mexican restaurant with great views of the NYC skyline, look no further I found the place for you. Charritos is a Mexican restaurant with three locations so far in New Jersey. The one with amazing views is the restaurant located in Weehawken, New Jersey. It was my grandma's 76th birthday and we took her out to lunch here and this place didn't disappoint.
