It's starting to finally feel like SPRING-time in New York City. I was excited to take my mother and grandmother to the botanical garden to see the Thailand orchid show exhibit! I haven't been to this botanical garden in many years. I saw amazing photos of this exhibit and had to go see it for myself. Let's just say it did not disappoint especially my grandmother who is flower enthusiast!
Embracing who are and practicing self love are important for many reasons. Many people struggle with knowing their worth and being able to be unapologetic for being themselves. Creating a space in your life to listen and explore who you really are, and to accept and fully embrace your true authentic self is priceless. I haven't talked about this topic before on my blog but hope to incorporate more in future blog posts.
Hey guys! I recently had the opportunity to receive another Influenster voxbox! This time around I received the the Bite Beauty Voxbox which came with beauty products. If you're not familiar with influenster, LISTEN UP (or just keep scrolling down haha)!
New York City has so many fun rooftops. In this blog post I will be focusing on the Refinery Rooftop which is one of my favorite places to bring friends from out of town. It has a chill vibe and has yummy food to share with big groups.

If you haven't experienced a New York City style brunch, you are missing out! It is not the typical brunch you are you used to attending. with a live dj, great food, and bottomless mimosas. There are many places in the city that offer an array of bottomless brunches, but this is one of my all time favorites!
2016 was great year for me. I got to travel to Thailand and Indonesia this past year which I didn't think in a million years I would be able to. I've let go of negative people in my life in the beginning of the year which has led me to become more at peace with myself. I've met so many amazing people from all over the world along the way. I've created new friendships that I'm very thankful for. Many things in my personal life are going in a great direction. I've never felt this happy before in such a long time. Along with highs there have been some lows but all you can do is learn from every experience. As much as I didn't want this year to end, I can only hope that 2017 will be filled with much more traveling, adventures, blessings, and accomplishments! #Hello2017
Autumn has to be favorite season ever. The cold crisp air, fall foliage, hot latte's, cozy sweaters, pumpkin and apple picking, baking yummy desserts, and everything else that involves Fall activities. Here are some photos Fall photos I took at nearby park where my mom works. It's only a 40 minute drive out of New York. I've never been to this park before but I'm glad I did because it was so beautiful! It wasn't an ideal day to walk around because of the wind and the temperatures dropped but thats East Coast weather for ya! Also this day I visited a local apple/pumpkin farm. Hope you enjoy this photo filled blog post!
If you're looking for a great Mexican restaurant with great views of the NYC skyline, look no further I found the place for you. Charritos is a Mexican restaurant with three locations so far in New Jersey. The one with amazing views is the restaurant located in Weehawken, New Jersey. It was my grandma's 76th birthday and we took her out to lunch here and this place didn't disappoint.
This has to be one of my new favorite books! I wanted to read the book before seeing the movie and I'm so glad I did because the book in my opinion is WAY better! When I finished this book, the tears were pouring down my face (Have a tissue box near while reading this book). Me Before You is heartbreaking, bittersweet and very powerful book. Once you immerse yourself in the book you do not want to put it down!
My grandma is obsessed with flowers and gardens. I took her out to Brooklyn to visit the botanical garden. Let's just say she was extremely excited and couldn't wait to explore. It was our first time there and it was a great experience. The grounds are well kept, very tranquil, and many places to explore within the property. If you have a few hours to spare, I would recommend visiting this botanical garden to escape the craziness of the city.
Spring is my second favorite season especially in New York. I wanted to introduce photo diary posts on my blog because I simply take way too many photos. I thought this would be a fun and creative way to show you around New York City through my camera lens.
