Party Island | Ios, Greece

Ios Greece Travel Guide

Ios will hands down be remembered for all the partying we did on this crazy island! From day beach clubs, pool parties, to the night clubs, Ios knows how to party!

Ios, Greece.
Ios is located between Naxos and Santorini, which many travelers make a pitstop during their island hopping itinerary. This is known as a party island at least during high season which is during July and August. But if you aren't into the party scene, don't worry this island offers many activities and relaxation. Leaving Santorini was sad but I didn't expect Ios to be so much fun! As we got settled into our hotel, we started the day off with with a pool party. In the evening, we went bar hopping and dancing the island.

The following day we headed to Mylopotas Beach, which is where you want to be! The day parties here are insane especially as the day goes by, more and more people attend. At the beach, there's many water sport activities to choose from. A friend and I decided to do a tubing ride around the beach and we couldn't stop laughing because of course I fell off like ten times. After sunbathing and having a few drinks, we headed to the pool party! This was so much fun, most of didn't want to leave. But we took the bus back to our hotel to get ready for the night. We all received out Ios t-shirt and were ready to takeover the town. I think we went to seven bars this night and also went to the opening of a new club that surprisingly didn't open until 3am. A group of us stayed until 7 in the morning and we got to see the sunrise on our walk back to the hotel. So many memories were made these couple days in Ios, writing this blog post makes me want to hop on a plane back to Greece (I wish!). Due to the major partying, I lost many photos from this trip but here's the few pictures I seemed to recover, hope you enjoy!

Back to Athens.
Back to Athens, where we said our final goodbyes to most of our tour mates. Goodbyes are never easy but the memories made will last forever. Shout out to our tour manager Haley, who honestly is the best tour manager! I felt she made the Greek Island part of my tour the best compared to other tour manager we had in the first leg of tour. Since a few us were leaving a day later, we shopped some more, ate more gyros, and had our own final night out at a bar nearby our hotel. I recommend going to this place for a unique experience, it's called MoMix Bar. Let's just say we had a few too many crazy drinks before our departure the following morning. I honestly wouldn't trade this experience for anything, it taught me so much about myself and also exploring the world with strangers! If you want to read more of my full thoughts on this tour (click here). Look out for my Thailand experience coming soon!
