Pega Pega Apartments | Oranjestad, Aruba

Are you on a budget, want a simple clean accommodation, and be centrally located in Oranjeststad? Look no further, this accommodation is the place for you and the best part is the price!

Pega Pega Apartments.
Address: Kwartstraat 10, Oranjestad, Aruba

For my mother's 50th birthday, I took her on a surprise birthday trip to Aruba. If you want to read a full in depth Aruba post (click here). This post will we focusing one of the accommodations we stayed at. For three nights of our vacation we stayed at the Pega Pega Apartments and the other half we stayed at an Airbnb, if you want to read more about that accommodation (click here). I booked this accommodation through Hotels.com and was perfect for what I had in mind for the trip.

My mother is the same way as I am, I guess I learned from the best but our style of travelling has always been to explore, see, and do as much as we possibly can during our time at any destination. Pega Pega Apartments was literally less than 10 minutes away from the airport, check in was fast and seamless. It is walking distance to the beach, nearby restaurants, and super markets. There is also free parking at the apartments which is awesome if you're renting a car (highly recommend).

For $43 per night, we had a clean room filled with basic necessities. We went to Aruba in January, which is high season in Aruba, mind you the resorts and hotels are way more expensive during this time. Many places were already booked when I was looking for accommodation but I was glad I found this place because it was close to everything in Oranjestad.

Overall Thoughts.
Lets be honest, this isn't the most luxurious place compared to the 5 star resorts on the island but if you're just looking for a place to sleep, this is perfect! Like I said before, high season in Aruba means high prices and if you're going to be out and about exploring Aruba, you won't be in your accommodation all day anyway. This was perfect for our stay and very affordable! If you want to read about the Airbnb I stayed at for the remaining of our trip (click here)!

On the Map.

Comment below,
Any recommendations for accommodations next time I come to Aruba?

Until the next post!

  1. You have really been able to whet my appetite so greatly for Aruba that I had included it in my list already. I think I have more than enough cool place to stay after all.
