Cartagena, Colombia is a vibrant, historical, and fun place to go visit on your next holiday! Many tourists tend to head down here to go to it's amazing beaches, resorts, and learn about it's rich history. It's located on the northern coast of Colombia which means the weather is always hot and amazing. It's also the fifth largest city in Colombia. There is always something to do in Cartagena so you'll never be bored!
The oldest city in Colombia, Santa Marta is made up of beautiful beaches and the stunning mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta range. There's so much to do whether it's hiking, snorkeling, parasailing, or just relaxing by the beach.Santa Marta is one of the places in Colombia where I have the best memories. The last time I was there, a group of 19 family members left Bogota to Santa Marta by plane and had the best time of our lives. It's a short hour and thirty-five minute plane ride from Bogota to Santa Marta. If you're looking to get out of the city and experience Colombia's beaches, I definitely recommend visiting Santa Marta!
Both my parents are from Colombia which may make me biased when writing this blog post (lol). Surprisingly, my parents met in the United States but are both from the same beautiful city of Bogota. Bogota is Colombia's capital which is also the largest city in Colombia, and one of biggest cities in Latin America. I've been fortunate enough to visit Colombia many times growing up. There is so much culture, history, and beautiful architecture to explore in this wonderful city. I wanted to to share a few places that I think is worth visiting when visiting Bogota.
