The reason we booked this hotel was to be close to the Ice Castles. That was our sole purpose when coming to New Hampshire, if you want to read more about that experience (click here). After doing some research, we came across the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lincoln East that was closest in proximity to where we wanted to be. Winter months are high season around the Loon Mountain area which be the cause of higher accommodation costs. There many winter activity attractions in Lincoln, New Hampshire, that if we had enough time we could've liked to explore some more. Just an fyi, bring lots of warm clothes! It's much colder here than New York, so come prepared. We were pleasantly surprised how the Ice Castles were literally down the road from this hotel which was awesome!

The receptionist was so nice and friendly that she upgraded our room to a larger suite. The common area in the lobby is very big and they provide free tea and coffee at all hours. Our bedroom suite was very spacious that accommodated four people generously. Our room had a little seating area which made the suite extra spacious. We loved that their was a fitness center and indoor pool as well. The free breakfast available here is so good. They have many options to choose from whether it's cold or hot food. It's a self service station, so you can go up and grab as much as you desire. If you're coming from out of state, this hotel provides free parking which was a plus. The hotel is also situated in a great location next to many restaurants and stores.

Overall Thoughts.

I really loved this hotel and would definitely come back. The fact that this hotel is less than one minute away from the Ice Castles, you cant beat that! I also enjoyed having tons of restaurants to choose from that were close by as well has to convenience stores, bars, and shops. There's so many activity pamphlets at the entrance of the hotel to help guide you if you're not familiar with the area. I would love to come back during the Spring or Fall months to do more outdoorsy activities and explore this beautiful area. If you're ever in the area, I definitely recommend checking it out!
