Green Juices.
There are so many benefits to to drinking green juices especially if you're a person who has a hard time incorporating greens into your diet. There's many health food/smoothie/ juice stores popping up everywhere nowadays but you can certainly make these at home if you have the ingredients! I love making them at home for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even during a hot summer day as a refreshing drink. I try to have at least one green juice everyday. Here are a few health benefits that drinking green juice provide:

  • Juicing makes it easy for your body to quickly absorb nutrients. When juicing, 99% of nutrients are absorbed in body within 20 minutes. 
  • Reduce inflammation. Inflammation is at the root of so many diseases that many of us struggle with every single day so reducing it with green juices is a great benefit.
  • You’ll have an energy boost. You’ll have more energy, feel lighter, and think more clearly
  • Your skin may glow. Your skin will look better, younger, and healthier than ever. If you suffer from acne, you may see symptoms begin to calm and even disappear over time.

Recipes.
These recipes don't have exact measurements because I just personally eyeball everything. I usually just make one glass for myself but if you're planning to make more than one glass just add more ingredients. All these recipes have a water base but if you prefer to substitute it with whatever you want, you are free to do so!

  3. I always find it so unfortunate that I'm allergic to ingredients in most green juices. They usually include avocado, apple, or pineapple in some form - and I can't have any of those! So sad. But I do try to find a way to get my greens in - even if it's blending kale or spinach into a fruity smoothie that's not entirely green!

  13. I don't drink a lot of juices, I prefer to eat the fruits. I am not that keen on a homemade juice consistency. I would try the apple and parsley one, from your selection of recipes.
