Ubud Airbnb | Bali, Indonesia

August 25, 2016 Bali, Indonesia

Have you ever stayed in the middle of a rice field with tree house vibes? If you want to have a unique experience I suggest you check this Airbnb out in Ubud!

Ubud Airbnb.
Leaving Jimbaran and our luxurious villa, we headed out to Ubud! If you want to read more on where we stayed in Jimbaran (click here). For the next couple of days we were staying in the middle of a rice field, getting in tune with mother nature! My friend actually found this Airbnb, which was totally different from anything I ever seen. Walking in and out of the Airbnb takes about 10 minutes. It's also located near the Ubud City Center, which is another 10 minute walk to get to the main road.

This Airbnb property has many tree houses where you can actually sleep in and a main villa with multiple bed rooms that you can stay in. It's more of a communal space where the kitchen, living room, and pool are shared. We met so many interesting people from around the world while staying here. I think this is great place to stay if you're a solo traveler, since you're able to interact with other guests. Each room is provided with a key, so your belongings will be locked and safe. Our room could sleep 4 people comfortably, with one queen sized bed (2 people) and then there's a ladder that leads to the top where there's room to sleep as well (2 people). We had a private outdoor bathroom & shower in our room as well, and a fan (sadly no AC on this property). The villa as you can see in photos is very open, so pack bug spray if you're planning to stay here! I really loved the jungle vibe this Airbnb had, at night you can hear the sounds of insects, actually see the stars in the sky, and appreciate what Ubud is famously known for, beautiful rice fields! If you want to read on what activities we got up to while in Ubud (click here) to read more.

Overall Thoughts.
This place exceeded my expectations! As I wasn't the one who chose this accommodation, I was kind of iffy on staying in the middle of the rice fields in a treehouse/villa setting. I'm glad my friend chose this airbnb because it truly gave us a Balinese experience in a breathtaking setting in nature. The staff were super attentive and cooked amazing breakfasts each morning. I would recommend this Airbnb to those who want to have a unique experience in Bali and don't want to stay in a typical hotel!

Any recommendations for accommodations next time I come to Bali?

Until the next post!

  1. Airbnb has made traveling to different parts of the world lots easier, one don't need to worry about whom to stay with, most of the hosts are very helpful walking you through any location visited while feeling at home at the same time. This is the awesome experience I love about it.
