I discovered the cutest Italian garden in New Jersey and you have to check it out!
Deep Cut Gardens.
Address: 152 Red Hill Rd, Middletown, New Jersey 07748
Deep Cut Gardens is a 54 acre property with gardens and greenhouses open all year round in the Monmouth County area. In the Spring time you'll find tulips in bloom, in summer you'll see roses blossoming, in the fall you find leaves starting to change color, and in the winter you can see the greenhouse filled with cacti plants. You will find yourself walking around in awe and in disbelief that this is located in the east coast and not in Europe.
On Sunday my mother wanted to go to a park and walk around. We both love finding new places so after a quick google search, I came across this park and had to go check it out. This park was about a 45 minute drive from where I live and let me tell you this place didn't disappoint. Not only was the weather perfect that day but this park was something you wouldn't expect to find in New Jersey. The best part it's completely free where you don't have to pay for parking or for an entrance free! We arrived a little past 11 am and we saw a few people but it wasn't crowded at all.
When you enter the property you'll find an area full of flowers, plants, and butterflies flying everywhere. If you walk pass this area there's different trails to walk around and there's even a picnic area. The main attraction of this park is definitely the gorgeous Italian garden in the back. This is the perfect place to go to unwind, it's honestly so quiet and peaceful. There were a few families, couples, elderly people, and even a professional photo shoot happening. There are benches all around the property so you can sit down and take in the beauty. I did notice a few elderly people having problems walking down the stairs, and there weren't any wheelchair accessible areas so keep that in mind when visiting. Before heading back to your car don't forget to check out the greenhouse area where you'll find an array of different plants, cacti, and flowers. I definitely recommend visiting this park if you're ever in the area. If you want to see this place in video format, don't forget to watch my youtube video below!
