Aglaya Hotel & Courtyard | St. Petersburg, Russia

After flying many hours, checking in the Aglaya Hotel & Courtyard was perfect to unwind and relax.

Aglaya Hotel & Courtyard.
Address: Razyezzhaya ulitsa 38, Tsentralny District, St. Petersburg 191119, Russia

I had some reward points accumulated through hotels.com and was able to score a free night here. I knew after that long flight from New York and the two layovers in between to get to Russia, we wanted to to get a comfortable night's rest before starting our adventure in Russia. Since most of our accommodations for this trip was going to be at airbnb's, spending the first night at a hotel was a great way to switch it up. Aglaya Hotel & Courtyard has outstanding service from beginning to end. We arranged airport transportation and was met by a lovely driver who knew very little english but went above and beyond in trying to communicate with us through the best app ever, google translate. Arriving at the hotel, checking in was a very fast process. I loved how quaint this hotel was but also had it's modern touches. It has seven floors, with a great rooftop terrace and restaurant located on the bottom floor. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The hotel is situated near many restaurants, pharmacies, and stores which is great to walk to and explore around the neighborhood. Our free night stay included a free breakfast. It's buffet style breakfast offering a juice bar, coffee, fruits, pastries, eggs, meats, and bread selection.

Overall Thoughts.
Aglaya Hotel & Courtyard is a great hotel to check out whenever you're in St.Petersburg. Being able to access to many shops and restaurants on foot but also feeling like a local is a great plus. The great service and attention to detail at this hotel is awesome. The staff makes sure to help in whatever they can and to make you feel comfortable and secure. The rooftop terrace adds a great touch to this hotel especially during sunset hour. Seeing the city from that view is spectacular and unforgettable.
