End of Summer Fun | Playa Bowls

September 2, 2016

Labor Day Weekend is upon us which means everyone is fleeting away from New York City. If you're looking for a close getaway this is definitely your spot. This is one of favorite beaches that not so many people know about. It's located in New Jersey but trust me it's nothing like Seaside Heights where it's always over crowded and loud.

Long Branch Beach.

Address: 4 Ocean Ave, Long Branch, New Jersey, 07740

Not only is the beach not that far away from New York City but there's a resort on site where you can spend the weekend. The soft white sand, palm trees, resort, boardwalk, and a plethora of restaurants, and you can have your food delivered to where you're laying out, what more can you ask for? This beach is very family-friendly, quiet, and clean. You can relax and soak up the sun with no worries.

Playa Bowls.

Address: 88 Ocean Avenue, Long Branch, New Jersey, 07740

I've been craving acai bowls ever since my Bali trip. I'm glad I found Playa Bowls because it's my new favorite spot that I cannot stop raving about. Not only is it located on pier but the decor of this place is the cutest. They have a huge variety of acai bowls to choose from and priced moderately. The service is quick and fast even though you see long lines on a busy day. All ingredients are fresh and healthy, ready to get in your tummy. I wish this was located closer to my home because I would honestly be there every single day (not joking)! Playa Bowls has many locations in New Jersey so check them out for yourself if your around the area.

  1. I'm sure going to be giving this place a try and hope I enjoy the beach. I love getting to sit at the beach side during weekends to just enjoy a sense of getting away from my busy schedules during the week, but the idea of beaches being crowded each time bothers me. I hope it is not the case here as well.
